Carrying on the Athletic Club week Jason hosted the bold Rab McCallister and his grandson Eamonn to look forward to Athletic's La copa final. The lads 1st met in a Valencian boozer in 2008 the night prior to Athletic's La Copa final v's Barca in the Mestalla. The paths have crossed many times since and just sit back and listen to Rab's stories of his mum and her family during the Spanish Civil war and beyond. Tonight Jason was joined by his comrade and long time friend of the homebhoys Joseba in the Basque Country. We looked forward to Athletics La Copa finals and covered all sorts from the Gallowgate, Basque sanctuaries, Txokos overlooking the clouds and Guernika and a helluva lot more. They had the final catch up to the real deal starting on Thursday and with 3 pods in a row pre-season things are looking up for the Metsbhoys and the Mets.
